Centre-UB fellow, Dr Sun, has been awarded a fellowship from the International Diabetes Federation. This is an honorary title awarded to exceptional health professionals who are working in the field of diabetes. Dr Sun’s fellowship within Centre-UB is conducted in partnership with Diabetes UK. Together, they are investigating whether stigma associated with type 2 diabetes can be reduced through innovative social media campaigns led by social media influencers.
